I am Sam Tonks and am currently a freelance social media specialist within sports media, previously working at GRV Media as Head of Social Engagement and as Social Media Editor & producer at Snack Media working on GiveMeSport social channels, as well as a Sports Journalist with a first-class degree from Staffordshire University.

I’ve created viral video & engagement content across a variety of social platforms and covered some of sport’s biggest events including the World Cup & Euros, World Athletic Championships & Premier League matches live at the grounds. I have also been a part of the social media team at LiveWire Sport producing content and running platforms for the Premier League and Fantasy Premier League, as well as assisting with the live blog during match-days.

Over the last few years I have been fortunate to undertake a number of media and marketing roles with organisations such as ITV, London Stadium, Talksport and Express and Star newspaper.
